What is a fragrance oil?
A liquid containing blended aromatic and non-aromatic ingredients. They can contain synthetic and/or natural essential oils.

What are fragrance notes and why are they important?
Fragrances are a combination of ingredients that unfold over time with an immediate top note, deeper middle note and final base note.
Top notes are the aromas that are immediately perceived on application. Top notes consist of small, light molecules that are strong in scent and evaporate quickly. They form an initial impression. Top notes are usually described as “fresh,” “assertive” or “sharp.”
Middle notes are the aromas that emerge just prior to when the top notes dissipate.
Base notes are the aromas that appear close after the middle notes. Base notes consist of large, heavy molecules that evaporate slowly. They form the depth and main theme of the scent. Base notes are usually described as rich and deep.
Are fragrance oils natural or synthetic?
They can be either and can be both. There are totally synthetic fragrance oils. There are fragrance oils made with some natural essential oils and there are some fragrances that are made with 100% natural ingredients. All our products have Safety data sheets (SDS) and are safe for skin and use for cosmetics, soaps, lotions, incenses, air freshers and candles. We follow all IFRA (International Fragrance Association) standards with our products.
If a fragrance is 100% natural does that mean it is made with only essential oils?
It means that the fragrance is 100% natural. In recent years there has been great advancements in technology that has allowed us to obtain natural aromatic compounds that are not essential oils.
Do I need to add anything to this oil to make it safe to wear on my skin?
Our Oils & Sprays are of cosmetic grade and safe for external use on skin. This means you can put them on your body without worrying about skin irritation. (except those with certain allergies) Our products follow all International Fragrance Association (IRFA) Standards.
Our fragrances that are phthalate free. Phthalates, which may cause harm to the endocrine system. Our fragrances are also already free of ingredients on California’s Prop 65 list, which includes chemicals that have been linked to certain health concerns.
Even though these ingredients are natural, they can still cause some slight irritation. However, they are still kept within guidelines as outlined by IFRA within our fragrances. The inclusion of these raw materials does not make these fragrances harmful or dangerous when used properly within the limits set by IFRA. We use carefree scents.

My package was damaged during shipping. What should I do?
Sometimes packages are damaged enroute to you. Not to worry, if you selected our insured option for shipping at checkout. For us to make the insurance claim on your package we will need photos of the damage, the package, and the shipping label on the package. Please send those to Beluvedoilfragrances@gmail.com and we will respond within 48 hrs.
Why should I buy oils rather than the actual spray perfumes/colognes from department stores?
Buying body oils will save you money which you can use for other things. Designer perfumes/colognes can be very expensive, and the cost can be over $100.00 and depending on the brand it can cost more. With body oils, you are saving money but also you are getting a product that lasts longer and doesn’t wear off like those spray perfumes which are more alcohol than fragrance. Body oils last between 8 to 16 hr where perfumes and colognes typically last 4 to 8 hrs our wear. Our oils are longer lasting than department store perfumes.
Why Inspired?
We use designer fragrances names to help customers recognize the fragrance they are smelling. We use Inspired to represent that this is a comparable scent of the original, but we have no affiliation with original manufacturer/and or designers. These are our interpretation of the designer perfumes. The only purpose of using the named brands is to give scent character and is not meant to misled or confuse the customer. It is not to infringe on the manufacturer's/ designer’s name and valuable trademark. We use it as a comparable fragrance scent to help the customer understand the profile of the fragrance.
We do not represent our Beluved Oil Fragrances & Aromatics inspired fragrances to be designer originals only inspired by those scents. Any references to the original brand names by Beluved Oil Fragrances & Aromatics are strictly for comparison.
